I have a N/A Crossfire and I had both rear Cats removed and installed straight pipes in place. Yes, there are four of them. The front two are connected to sensors.

Dang! Yeah I feel I'd definitely remove the rear two and see if there is a way to put some high performance cats in place of the front 2. Or has everyone here already tried this and come to find it just causes problems?

You don't need any cats. Just two of these: O2 Simulator Mini Cat Cel Fix I wouldn't use such a thing of course.
