well, Les, finally I see realistic numbers. Can't wait to see your report on the TCU, as that is always in the back of mind to do. I like Anthony's latest mod with the 3.27 tcu upgrade and I like your numbers...370 seems to be the area everyone ends up at... Let us all know your feel for it once you have tracked it...

All the heavy modders end up against this ceiling for a reason. The supercharger gets so far out of it's efficiency range that added boost gets offset to a great degree by that inefficiency. I stacked my Code3 with the 178 and my 1/8 mile was faster but the 1/4 was the same. That's our problem. Hence, nitrous, cams/head work, turbo, larger custom supercharger, acceptance or moving on are the choices. I'll keep chipping away for the foreseeable future. I kinda see a possibly of cams and head work in my future. Time will tell if I have the fortitude to make the leap.

Awesome. How much did u gain with the new tune and headers? Are you considering raising the limiter a bit more?

yeah, I'm with you on that Les... I think if I can convince Rudy to help me find the higher rear end, that will help with my times, but not my HP...lol

Mine runs out to 6500 and the dyno graphs never fall off.

Gains: Headers 4 hp. Disappointing considering the cost. The tune is still under evaluation but first indications are it makes more power and it's lean. A bit of a surprise because the tune it was based on was not lean. The retune was to raise the rev limiter and I wanted something a bit more aggressive. I'm hoping after some time the ECU will adjust. Until then I'm running 100 octane just in case. I don't plan to rev to 6400 with frequency. The new tune and TCU give me the option to hold a gear when at the end of a straight or upshift early before a series of high speed turns. In the 1/4 mile I hope to shift at 6100 manually but if I'm a little late there's room for my error and I get the benefit of the reduced torque management and quicker shifts. Where I notice it most (reduced torque management) is in first gear. My next update with new information will be after the weekend.

Sent an email to Jerry and the AFR's are ok for the gas I'm using. What a relief. He's going to richen it up a tad so I can sleep better. I've got to give Eurocharged credit for working with their customers, like me, that worry about everything.
