Looking for some help. 2004, 76,000 mikes just started skipping pretty hard when I stop at a red light not every time about every 10th time or so put the car in natural mash the gas a couple of times she back to normal. Does anyone know the Fix. Thanks Bill
1. A can of sea-foam in the next tank of gas.
2. new plugs
3. new plug wires
4. anybody's guess
( I didn't mention fuel pump or filter cause you say it only skips at idle ... )

Clearing when you rev sure sounds like plugs getting fouled. Can also be affected by weak spark or resistive plug wires.
If here we could put a scope on it. Any trouble codes in history ? (My Jeep tracks misfires but does not look like the CF does.)
If you have an IR gun you could check for a cool cyl when misfiring.

Just a thought that I have seen on other cars: if the CPS is giving problems wouldn't the tach be jumping around ?
Usually a jumping tach indicates a primary ignition problem but something in the secondary ignition (coils, wires, plugs) won't.
ps another thing that happens when you rev is the alternator output increases possibly enough to overcome a weak plug or coil.
