Default Muffler delete question

*this was originally posted in Coupe section but I made another thread following maxcichon's advice* sorry for clogging up the forum with my double posts LOL
If I cut the muffler out and weld the stock tips back on, will I have problems with back pressure? I heard it can mess your motor up. I want my car to be louder and I have found this to be the most interesting and tempting option but I do not want to cause any problems with it and the level of reliability it's at right now.

Every little bit helps...

BUT-I have what is essentially a double-glasspack system. 2.75" dual pipes and a 2-in/2-out Magnaflow glasspack replacing the cats and what is left of the Magnaflow cat-back at the rear.

No worries...

What kind of sound are you getting? I'm looking for a somewhat V8 sounding rumble (yes I know that's a long shot). No tin can ricer sound though, cause this isn't a Honda Civic.

Max's roadster sounds like a v12 Ferrari running on half it's cylinders.

But my main question is will I have back pressure issues? If not then I'm cutting that sucker out myself and going full ricer for a few days until I pay someone to weld the tips back on. Really scared about the potential back pressure issues.

Honestly, there is no issue. less restrictions is always better, especially after the converter. BUT don't let hot exhaust melt anything.

I plan on making it a legit mod and not just a hack job so that should not be an issue

LOL!

I just passed a Hardee's Steak biscuit through my nose. It's a friggin' Miracle!

Thanks a lot, buddy!

CT, Airboy, (I can say that!), It sounds pretty nice. I even get burble on throttle-lift!

And I walk like a horse with 2 legs missing...

Or three....

I think I've decided on a game plan. I want to cut the muffler and rode around for a few days to get a feel for it. If I don't like it then im going to install some type of Flowmaster, no specific model yet. I was really impressed with the videos I've seen on YouTube. If I don't like that, then heck I don't know
