Unhappy "Check Engine" button ON

Hello all,

My XF has 680 miles only.
I think I am taking a good care of it (washing + quite careful at the beginning)
I wanted to go to wash my car today when suddenly the "check engine" button went ON.
I checked the gas cap (well closed), I did premium gas the day before no pb.
So I realy do not understand....and am a bit upset about that....
Of course I will bring it as of monday morning to the dealer but I wanted to know if someone got the same issue and what advices could you give me.

Thanks a lot and have a good week-end,

~GyOm~

GyOm ~ just don't check the cap ~ take if off and then put it back on ~ check engine light should now be off ~ onve you restart the car. It worked on mine ~ so try it!

Thanks Thom I did it and the "Check Engine" disappeared when I took my XF tonight.
Just hope it was as simple as that.
I appreciated your quick answer. That's very kind.
Thank you again,
GyOm
PS : I did not know sensors could be so sensitive ;-)
