Default Oil pressure gauge

As i mentioned in my other post I want to put in some VDO gauges, oil temp and pressure. I have a chose of a few scales, I would like to see minor changes so that means going with lower limits. If I get one too low the gauge will just stay pegged all the time, does anybody have those numbers where these two numbers run?
This is the part I had done for the gages.

With 0W40, oil pressure will run as low as 3psi at idle. 5W50 will yield idle psi of 8-9psi.

With a cold engine, you will see as much as 80-90 psi even at idle, even with 0W40.

At operating temperatures, the 2000-3000 rpm range will yield 35 to 55 psi depending on what weight oil you run.

*The above numbers come from what I saw with a ProSport Electric Oil Pressure Gauge.
I replaced the sending unit at one point (mounting it directly to the port on the engine caused it to fail, I suspect due to heat) - and saw the same readings with the replacement sending unit.

Thanks, so the 0-80 psi would be the one for driving, and let me see small changes. Where on the engine did you place the sending unit? This for my NA.

The oil pressure port is in the WHITE circle.

Remote mounting it is VERY important, the aftermarket senders do not appear to tolerate heat like the factory sending units of years past.
