Default Still need oil pressure gauge solution...

I am still looking for a solution to install my oil pressure gauge. I may have a location for the sensor thanks to Splinter. But I still need to find a pressure sending unit.

I did find two on Amazon, but not sure if they will work for our engine.

Sunpro CP7577 and AutoMeter #2242.

Any info on suggestion or experience would be appreciated.

Thanks,
MikeR

TVT will be able to help with this, I believe he is going to be selling an install kit along with a defi sending unit. The oil pressure sending unit that comes with our gauges will work just fine, it is just a matter of plumbing you have run to get space. HEre is TVT's Kit something similar can be made it is just a matter of finding the fittings. Here is a site that TVT has recomended for us and our fitting. They can be very usefull finding the right sizes is the trick.

Making a kit has proved nearly impossible as it doesn't solve the original issue of tapping into the Oil Filter holder.

You will need:

2, 1/8" NPT Male into 1/8" NPT Female
3" long tube with 1/8" NPT Male

That's it then just screw in the sending unit.

You will also need a 46mm or 1 7/8" ratchet to remove the oil filter housing.
