very little heat???
Recent purchase of 2005 roadster----just now cool enough for heater---only slightly warm air from floor/dash vents---blower speed seems slower than my coupe, but does blow---engine also seems slow to come up to normal temp---??? any ideas?? Thanks, Leroy
If the air conditioner works it will be these valves.
temp guage comes up to normal operating temp, but does seem to take much longer than my coupe---I was aware of the water valves on pass side, but after engine comes up to normal temp, valves are still cool to the touch---guess this could be the problem---thanks for the response. I have a running parts car--might take the valve from it---are the valves repairable??

Did you check and see if the coolant heater pump is working? Doesn't it run when you call for heat? Or, does it only run when you select 'rest' mode.

In several vehicles, I get some barb fittings, water hose quick disconnects and a ball valve and back flushed the heater core, with a water hose, to clean it out,
