Turbo add on?
Has anyone slapped a turbo onto a base xf? If so what turbo kit did u go with and just how much of a nuisance is it to do? Ive never done anything this extensive to a car b4 should i just pay a mechanic and have them deal with it or?
Its the only sure fire way and its a lot less expensive that messing around with add-ons
NA do not like Forced Air , ,if it was easy or even hard to do and work we all would been putting one on are NA , The Na has been around since 2004 ,there few that have tried but you never see them going down road , just one was done it was in the shop for 6 years , and still lived up to nothing , the NA and SRT6 motors are not the same both are built different , Research it you will find more
Screw you! I bought the $295 electric kit. I'll show you the setup at the Fall DRagon.
Tomtom. Believe that I have the only running turbo'd NA Crossfire.
Here's some of the info on it.
I don't drive it (or my other Crossfires) due to knee issues. $4,500 and the only running turbo NA Crossfire can be yours!

And BTW, I've seen the electric turbo, those Aussie lads did a video on one
Yes, Corky Bell. Don't know how well it performs, but DJ has it for sale CHEAP, why don't you buy it and find out
Yes , I had one too. It was running, had Josh do some work on the computer parts. I piggy-backed it with after market management system. Couldn't stand the sound of the oil pump. The company that was doing final tuning closed the business, sold the Dyno machine. It ran, but I was always was fine tuning and playing with it. Without the Dyno machine, it was almost impossible to fine tune. Mine was a rear mounted Turbo.
Never found out final H.P. but there was a lot more than stock H.P. Got tired of the noise, so ripped it out and donated the parts to a High school.
Still driving the Crossfire and loving it.
Pictures of the build are in my profile.
Stay safe

There is now available a TRUE electric turbo for about $2500 that will deliver up to 6 PSI ( .4 BAR ), which is about all a NA engine can handle safely.
