Default Oil Change at Ford Dealership

Have a '17 Focus ST 2.0T (252 HP) 6-speed & '19 Escape Titanium 2.0T AWD.....Many Ford Pass points on the books.....took Wilma & my M1 0W-40 and Mann filter to my Ford dealership....they only charged $17 labor....& I used my points to pay for that labor.

I hope the tech who changed the oil wasn't the new guy in the shop: He probably has never seen a Mercedes engine before, which makes me wonder if he changed all the "O" rings on the filter and torqued the plug properly. $17.00 is certainly reasonable, but I prefer doing it myself and knowing it was done right.

I don't trust anyone with the car, hell, I don't even trust anyone with my Ford Ranger.

And, I'd have gone with 5W40...

I was able watch and made sure he knew about the O rings, etc. 2 x 5 qt jugs provided and exactly 2 qts left in the final jug. Kind of a shame....car only had 500 miles since last oil change...June 2019.....now at 39,714 miles.
