Car stalling
Hey guys about to have my car brought to a shop and want to make sure I don’t get taken advantage of. Was driving my car the other day and all of a sudden car started revving freely and it just started coasting. Got it to the side of the road and checked to make sure I hadn’t slipped a belt or something. Everything looked and sounded fine. Nothing was leaking from underneath the car either. I turned the car off and then back on and was able to drive another quarter mile before the same thing happened again. I turned it off and on again and was able to limp it to a parking lot but everytime I turned it off and on it seemed it would go a shorter distance before it wouldn’t move again.
I know these transmissions are supposed to be bullet proof but wondering if it could be blown or if it’s just a sensor or maybe something is overheating.
I have an srt coupe btw

more than likely the transmission conductor plate.
should be around $300 parts/fluid and not more than 2 hours labor at a shop/dealer
