Question Flowmaster Super 44

Greetings everyone.
I fell in love with the sound from Gpeterson119's Flowmaster Super 44 muffler. I sent a message to a local muffler guy about getting this one installed: https://www.holley.com/products/exha.../parts/9424472. I believe that it is the right one, as it is 2.25 in and out, as well as having the dual outlet. I want to keep my stock tips as well. However, he got back to me and said that the only muffler he could install for me was this one: https://www.holley.com/products/exha.../parts/9525454. Not only is it 2.5 in and out, but it also has dual inlets. From the pictures I've seen, our cars have 1 2.2.5 inlet, and 2 2.25 outlets, correct? I'm not sure why the one I sent him originally would not work. Or maybe I am wrong, and if so, please do tell me what I have gotten mixed up. Thank you everyone for your help.

PS: Gpeterson119, if you see this, please tell me the part number for your Flowmaster! Thanks!

Just to confirm, this one: https://www.holley.com/products/exha...parts/9424472? I really would like to make sure it is correct before I purchase it. Thank you so much for your response!

I ordered mine from Amazon but its the same model number. I cant get the link to copy. But it was Flowmaster 9424472 supper 44 2.25 center in 2.25 dual out. Sounds great. A little loud at around 2,000 to 2,500 but if its to bad i down shift to 4th. My wife complains i love it.

Thanks so much for the help! I really appreciate it. Just ordered the muffler from Amazon and it will get here on the 13th. I'm super excited. Just curious, did you get it installed by a shop? If so, about how much was it to get put in? I'm, thinking under $200 should be reasonable. Thanks again for your help!

A shop installed for me they charged me $134. I'm in northeast Arkansas don't know if it would be the same other parts of the country.

Thanks for all of your help through this. The Muffler came a few days ago and I just got it installed this afternoon. It cost me $200, but that was to be expected since I live in SoCal. I also got to keep my original tips and muffler. Only about an hour and a half later, WOW what a difference. This is how our cars should have sounded from the factory! Thanks so much for helping me with my purchase! I seriously appreciate it.

so the SRT-6 is 2.25 inch all the way to the rear cats also? I am thinking of replacing them with a X pipe and was reading this. Can you confirm? I saw that muffler also and may look up a sound bite.
