Default REAR Cats on SRT-6 Dented on the bottom?

Looking at my exhaust system on the SRT-6 I notice the rear cats are both dented on the bottom side, my question is did they come that way or did the last owner hit something? If I remove them should I install a X pipe in place of the 2 cats?

If you take the cats out make sure you keep them as they are worth something because of the metal inside them.
Scrap metal merchants will buy them, otherwise the shop foreman will sell them and pocket the money himself. They may have about 4 grams of platinum in each of them, the total worth about $200 plus. They are worth more if there is other tire metals in them.

yes, I know someone that makes BANK selling them for the metals inside. Accords are work almost a grand for the main one and you can buy a repop off ebay for less than 100 bucks. He chases every Honda he see! LoL I know the racket so I will cut them off myself and drive it to the shop with the x-pipe in hand. Do you by chance know what size exhaust pipes the SRT-6 has? the NA is 2.25, just not sure about the "6"
