Default Oil Catch Can Emptying

I may be crazy. Ok I am a little crazy. But I am looking to change the oil for the first time (1 year and 2k miles) since I got my crossfire srt6. It had the oil catch can and valve covers installed. The can is in there so tight I can't get my hand anywhere near the drain plug. I searched and I can't find any directions on how to actually drain the can. Do I remove the entire can to drain it?

Thanks

Do you have the Needswings Oil Catch Can ??
If so you do need to remove the Catch Can with the one bolt that holds it and lift it up and out a bit to unscrew the drain cap
Be sure to look carefully when you remove it so you can reinstall it correctly
It has a small metal post that fits into a rubber grommet below it when you reinstall the Needswings Catch Can

This was super helpful. Pictures and everything. So leave the hoses on, take the one bolt off and lift it up and drain. Thank you

Yup that's all you need to do and with only 2000 miles you likely wont have much oil in the can to drain out at all
Also be certain that you keep the drain cap upright so the little o-ring inside the cap does not fall out
I usually drain mine at about 6000 miles at an oil change and only drain out about 3 ounces
