Ever heard of the Intake Manifold exploding?
Hi all,
A friend recently bought a Crossfire on the recommendation of myself and another friend who also owns a Crossfire.
He's had it about a month and has been over the moon with it. He took it in to be serviced and on a few short drives after, said it seemed to cough and lose power. On the last drive he heard an explosion under the hood with copious amounts of white smoke.
The car was towed to where it was serviced and they have found the intake manifold needs replacing.
I've searched the threads and not seen anyone having a similar experience. Just wondering if anyone might know what may have actually happened!
