I just used the same promo code and got the same discount $35.00 off the price at Advance Auto Parts...(3/13/12)..FYI..My 2004 Limited still had the factory original with no signs of any problems..Will use that battery to power a winch on my trailer...Wayne

Some do have a sticker on the top with the date of the initial fill and charge date. That's the day that counts, it could be made years ago but when it's filled is when it starts its life.
You really want a battery only a max of three/four months old.

I think that many manufacturers work on the premise that most people do not keep their car as long as the warranty for the battery, the warranty is not transferable and many just lose the warranty papers anyway.
