Engine diagnostics
Did you get one of the scanners as suggested by ala_X fire?
I am looking into them now as I expect to fail my MOT emissions in January. Would be nice to have a heads-up prior to the test itself.
Cheers Mark

Hi there Mark, yes, I bought a scanner, I live in the UK and got one from Europarts, it was only about £20 ish, important to note it is only basic, but it does reset my code easily enough, let me know how you get on, I had to buy the secondary airpump, it cost $200 with an 18 month guarantee through eBay, I bought it from the USA

Hi Teak
Still looking for the most suitable scanner. None seem to mention anything about reading the emissions though. Do you know if yours from Europarts would read the emissions data? What was the stock/part number for the one you purchased?
Cheers

I have five scanners total, the simple Ultragage, an Innova 3100, a cheap Elm 327, the BlueDriver ($100) and a Vident iLink 410. The BlueDriver is the one I play with using my iPad.
I have not used the Vident at all it says it can do a lot but I have yet to prove it. It only does some tests on some vehicles, I have yet to test it on the Crossfire.
These scanners tend to claim they can do all sorts of tests but often can only do a fraction of what they claim.
My Chrysler 300 did better than the Innova when using it’s own built in scanner.
