i ordered led lights for the front top light in the headlight assembly i just can't remove the headlights to replace,
does anyone know how to?

 

You can remove the two upper retaining bolts, then open the access panel in the fender well and remove the two lower retaining bolts. Lift the headlamp from the fascia and disconnect the wire harness connectors. Hope this will help you.

 

Just remember that your "Bulb Out" light will be on, due the difference in wattage.

 

So i need to remove the fender in order to get to that lil bulb?
Wow it would be easier just to let the dealership do it for me for free...

You don't take the fender out. Look at the front (fender well) in front of the wheels and you'll see the access panel.

 

but the light i want to remove is on top its the 194 bulb.
so how can i access it?

 

Good question, I'm trying to do the same. Trying to remove the bulb I broke it off in the housing. !!fu//!! I might just buy a new housing and let the dealer install.

 

i don't think you're trying to remove the entire housing. only the little light on the turn signal area. that's easier than he explained. all you have to do is look at the back of the housing and there is a little plastic piece directly behind the light as you look at it from the front. turn it counter clock wise to open it and remove the bulb. replace the bulb in the bulb holder and re-insert the bulb. it's really easy.

or ask one of the guys at the local shop to do it for you. just be nice enough to hit him off w/ a $5 spot if he does it for you, and maybe buy him a soda if he shows you how/where to do it.
