removing emblems
Hey,
Has anyone ever removed the Crossfire and Chrysler emblems from their
car like people do on their BMW's ?
Is this a do it yourselfer ?
How hard is it ?

i removed the "Crossfire" on the back. i like it off. called debadge. do a search for it to see how to do it, and look in gallery for "debadge" to seem some pics. not hard. as far as the Chrysler wings, if you remove them it will leave a dip where the are because they are sunk in.
i took the crossfire off the back of mine also. it looks awesome. the only way to do the crysler wings though would be to get a replacement piece welded in. what i did was just get the silver portion painted to match the rest of my car. i love it. you get the illusion of it being removed when you are far off. i just need to replace the chrysler emblems now.
Easiest way to do it is with a heat gun and some fishing line.
It's pretty self explanitory on how to get it off. Also use some Goo-Gone to get the excess glue from the paint.

Use a hair dryer and fishing line as suggested to remove the letters. As to the center emblems, order the decals from Andrew and you'll be happy!
