Default HID shopping!!!

So i've seen a lot of guys liking the 4,300-6,000k. according to the link below, 5000k is the highest output. i want the highest output, but with a dash of blue tint to it. is 6000k the way to go???

I have 6000K and they have a Blue look when you look at them. The road just seems very bright real white. I also noticed they are exactly the same color as my friends new 2008 Corvette.

Most OEM setups run at 4700 - 5000 deg K. I personally run a set of 6000 deg K, which are very, very white with a little purple band around the edges. If I did it over again I would probably go with 5000 deg K for a little better visibility. Remember, as the color temp goes up the light output goes down.

BTW, the link you posted is the exact set that I have. I have had them on for a little over a year now and have not had any problems with them.

I'd probably go 4200K or 5000K if I could do it agin, unless someone wants to get a McCulloch 4200K kit and I give them my 6000K's

I have the 5000K and they most definitely project a tint of blue on reflective signs. I would of liked to have 4300K but they weren't available from my ebay vendor. REVISED (4300K is the OEM setup and is less blue than the 5000K)

6000K is more blue than 4300K. You go much below 4300 and they will look yellow and up past 6000K they will look purple.
