Does anyone know how much it SHOULD be to remove tint in just the front two windows? All windows? All windows and retint just the back three? I'm in sacramento, ca.

 

You could do it yourself it's not that hard. If you start at the top corner with a razor blade scrape enough to pull it. Once you get it started you can peel most of it off in one big piece just take your time and go nice slow you might have to scrape it little as you doing it. After you get it off clean the class with adhesive remover if needed and then with a good glass cleaner. I've had to do it on a couple of cars I've owned.

 

I've thought of using adhesive remover if I did it myself...but I am worried I might mess up the glass - Will I?

I am also worried about scratching the glass with the razor blade....am I just being a *****?

 

if you keep the razorblade as parallel to the glass as possible while you scrape you will not hurt the glass. at the place i got my tint done they take it off for free. it only takes like 3 seconds.

 

If your careful and take your time you won't scratch it. You should be able to peel most of it off with out having to scrape it off.

 

How dark was your tint and what kind of crossfire do you have? as you can see I also live in SAC so I am very interested in what cops do around here since I wanna tint my windows...

 

5% all around on a 04 light blue/silverish coupe.

I removed the tint from the fronts....it still looks good but not as good....

I suppose the good thing though is that I can see outside from my front windows at night now...
