Deer + XFire @ 80 MPH = Not happy owner
So yeah, as the title says and you have probably guess, I hit a deer last night in Iowa. The deer down there don't know how to use the crosswalks and I hit one on I-29 doing a good solid 80 MPH. Lucky for me, it appears that it has only messed up the front and didn't get into the hood. Screwed up the front rim and tire, bumper cover, grill, all the plastic in the fender well, the fog light block out, front turn signal, fender, and door. There is hair everywhere on my car but to my surprise, not much blood. Oh and it also looks like it pushed the front fender into the windshield surround on the bottom scratching it all up. The reason I bring all this up is I was contemplating putting on a ST or a SRT-6 front bumper and now since it's screwed up, and there is a tone of plastic under-body stuff that needs to be replaced as it is damaged, what are my options for installing a different bumper? Does anyone have the part numbers for them and the accompanying parts that are different between them?
Also, since I am probably going to be doing some pretty major modifications to the front end is a different grill I was also toying with the idea of fabbing the grates that are on the hoods above the front wheels on the vipers. Maybe I'm getting way in over my head but if I'm gonna be without my new toy for a week or two, I might as well get it all done at the same time if I can.
Thanks in advance!

Aww, from what i saw deers do to cars at high speed i would have expected our little XF's to be hurt more... but if they can handle it well its just good news.
Also, any chance of some pics? For some reason i really want to see something like that... not on my car of course.
Sorry to hear about ur car too... i hope you were insured in full.

Sorry to hear about your accident. Hitting a deer at high speed could cause a lot of damage. I'm glad to hear you're OK. You should be able to use the SRT bumper cover as they are interchangeable.

Yes, I know it needs a wash but I really can't wash it until the body shop gets started on it and then tehy will wash it themselves so no wash.
Yah, after my accident my car got real dirty before I could get it to a repair shop. I dont have part numbers, but just do a search on google for crossfire parts. I looked up the price on a new bumber for my SRT6 and for some reason the SRT6 bumber was cheaper than the base model. Go Figure. Around $300.
Nows your chance for the srt6 bumper cover. My insurance had no problem with the change, because it was cheaper and there is no difference in the mounting, and its an OEM bumper cover for the car. one other thing is the body shop going to repair it or replace it ? if they bid the job to repair it, you may have them price the srt6 cover it may be cheaper to replace it due to materials and labor to repair it .
