new paint job
Quick question, I was thinking of having my Door Handles Painted Alabaster to match my car, but how much would you expect to pay for just door handles and a 3 inch scratch on the front bumper? Any advice/help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
To save $$$, take off as many trim peices you can, take out the headlights, the taillights, the door panels, the window moldings, anything that would normally be taped up prior to painting, I would remove. I did this on a car years ago, removing as much as I could before paint. Just be very, very careful when putting back together, or you'll kick yourself when you make that small nick in your paint!
shop rate over here is $44/hr. so i believe handles are .5 each and then the bumper would probably be just blended. they would sand out the scratch then scuff the whole bumper blending the repair area and clearing the whole bumper. thats probably 3.5. you can go down to any body shop and theyll give you an estimate.
