Just curious...
Why do some Crossfire owners take off the lettering on the back of the car? I bought a used 2004 Crossfire and it took me awhile to realize the lettering was missing, although I was puzzled as to why there was nothing on the car to identify the model. Now that I've read postings on this site, it occurs to me that they were probably removed on purpose. I'd like them back on, but what's up wth removing them in the first place?
Some drivers/owners just like the clean, uncluttered look when the emblem is removed. I have a "lined" Crossfire factory lettering emblem for sale if you're interested because I removed my leterring lol. lmk.
Another reason is that some owners get tired of cleaning in the little nooks and crannies of the letters, and picking the lint off the sharp edges of the letters everytime you wash the car.
I'm not ready to take mine off yet, but I wouldn't bother putting them back on either. The letters are a pain in the butt.

The only thing I removed thus far is the dealers name, its not his car anymore.
Thanks, all of you. That's very enlightening. Hmmmm.....maybe I don't want them on after all. I'll have to think about it now.
Ichon, in case I decide I want the letters, how much would you sell your emblem for?
