Smile HELP! StarTech Front Spoiler

Hello fellow Crossfire owners!

I'm a newbie to the forum and haven't posted any pictures of my newly acquired Crossfire till "she" is all tuned up to the way I want her to look . I'm somewhat familiar to the Crossfire/Karmann, having owned a Karmann Ghia and still have a 1994 VW Corrado and a 2001 SLK 320 in the garage....all made by Karmann.

I'm reaching out to you for help on helping me locate the "elusive" STARTECH front spoiler! I have sent TVT and StarTech emails without a replies.

Much thanks for your reply!!!

A littlke off topic, I had a 93 Corrado, and wish I kept that car. Pretty rare too. How is the condition of that?
I had a 89 Scirocco too.

The StarTech front bumpers are very expensive and that's IF you can get one. You can buy an SRT-6 bumper for about $250 and have about the same look.

here is the link Aiden Design.

Many forum members had a problem with this company but he is trying to fix past damage. I'm stating this because I just found the link as he does offer their products. I would definitely call them during the process at least. I read on here that Aiden will be partnering with TVT so we'll see how that goes.

CTD Germany sells them as well, but they are around $700 - $800.

Thanks for the reply guys!

If you are referring to my Corrado....she is all original(red on black leather)....I'm the original owner and was a "gift" from my parents when I graduated from University....you can probbably guess that I'm an old guy . She now has 63,000kms and has been on a hoist for the past 5-6 years.....more of a family heirloom now, lol. Hope to meet all of you real soon!......even though I'm in Toronto, Ontario(Canada)

Wow! For a lip spoiler! I just replaced my wife's 2004 Audi TT 3.2 ENTIRE bumper for $940+$150 for paint!

That's like Mercedes prices

You can get the SRT-6 bumper for less $ than the base bumper.

Yup, I know.....but the StarTech looks so much more intergrated and "less" dare I say it......AutoZone-ish

If I don't find an alternative.....I will bend and get it since my car is Black on Black and after lowering the stance....who will notice the spoiler other then like-minded "crazed" car-fanatics like us

Sorry but its hardly the same look. I've been in a parking lot with an SRT and the looks is completely different.

I'm in TOTAL agreement with you The SRT's spoiler looks like an inexpensive rubber garden "trim" piece that I just trimmed around my house.....except it was black....hmmm ....just kidding

The StarTech is a much better "intergrated" spoiler that perhaps the "Europeans" have an better eye for.

I'll be the first one to say that they are very expensive. I tried getting a group buy going a few months back at a very reduced rate but there wasn't much interest.

Basically the more ordered the cheaper it is because 1) the freight is spread over more products and 2) you get a better exchange rate with more money. The Euro/$ is getting a tad better so I'm pretty sure I can still do the same prices as before.

Old link: https://www.crossfireforum.org/forum...light=startech

Retail on the Front Spoiler is 759.82 (after exchange rate and before shipping)

We can probably do under 700.00 shipped (USA) on 5 or more orders.

With more people we can make it cheaper as the freight will be spread over more products.

If there are is an interest we can pursue this further and get deffinate pricing including freight.

Welcome aboard fellow Torontian! Unfortunately, my email to the Startech in Germany was that they no long manufacture the front spoiler....what a shame

I would look to do a group buy.....but at this point, if there are anything left out on the market, I'm gonna snap it up. Hope to meet up with fellow Crossfire owners soon. Cheers.

Dude definitely buy it, its totally worth the money for the unique look. Its even better looking in person. the xfire front is wimpy without it IMO.

Ok now im a confused... TVT can you still aquire the bumper or are they no longer in production?

As for a group buy, with Karmann333 and myself we are only short 3 ppl! I am sure we can find three ppl wanting this bumper, if not i'll post an ad on kijiji.ca and see what kind of interest I can drum up.

Anyone else want a sick new bumper to make other Xfire owners green with envy???
