Default Finally, done with the dealer

For those that don't know, my new 2006 had 3 defects. Broken gas door, broken tail light and 2 rusted screws. Today, finally, the dealer took care of them. The paint looks like a perfect match in certain light and in other, well darker. I guess I need to wait a month for it to dry and get wax on it before praising the match or damming the mismatch. No drama on the tail light, done. The screws, well they polished them and ordered new ones. Oh well. Since the oil has been in the motor since may of 2006, even though the car only has around 300 miles now, I had them change it. They screwed the filter cap so tight I can't budge it by hand. Just how tight should it be? Naturally I'm going to loosen it up. (I also want to see what filter they put in) I feel lucky that the only damage I can find is a scuff on the door sill that I can buff out. I guess my fanatic owner strategy worked. Here are a few pics, before and after.

Glad you can finally enjoy your car. All you need now is your intake to install!

Last I heard it was on the way! That Code 3 Pulley is sounding really good. Or if I can get in on a group buy on the new manifolds. This car makes me want to spend money. No car has done that to me since ...... 30 years! No way! Dang, call me one of the real McCoy's. Walter Brenner, that's me. Now I want to cry. Maybe we should change the name to V-fire.

Wow, there's a lot more '06's out there than I thought. Were we misled?
