I cant help you with that but I have been thinking of making a real carbon fiber roof.. Anyone know how hard it would be to take off that top sheet?

Forum member "alfdoc" has some photo's in his album of a Crossfire's "Cut-a-way" chassis.

Hope this helps to show you where to cut.
I think an "air chisel" would be the tool of choice

This must be an age thing, cause I dont understand putting "contact paper " on a car. It used to be used to line shelves in the kitchen. Especially since carbon fiber is not really carbon fiber for strength, and its not reducing the weight, just another thing to have to care for when it gets scratched up.?

Having said that, Vivid Racing is wrapping a F-430 in the faux carbon... Should look nice when done. If nothing else, it'll protect the factory paint.

And, I would assume that the vinyl will actually fade a bit over time, so if a car is completely wrapped, and you dent a fender, it would probably be hard to match vinyl to that one panel to match the rest of the car. Not to mention deviations of color/sheen between lot numbers.
Here's the pic of the Ferrari:
the company I pull for just did a wrap on my '03 '53 box trailer...I am a rolling billboard now...I have to post up a photo...which is what they did the wrap in....a photo of our product...makes the trailer appear to be brand new...hides all the bad places alone the sides...it will be interesting to see how long this material holds its colors...
