clearbra/vinyl wrap suggestions...
I've been offered a deal that is too good to refuse on a full-car clearbra or vinyl wrap for my Crossfire. I can do just the basic clear vinyl or mix it up with matte clear vinyl over my Graphite Metallic paint. I could also change it up and get it vinyl wrapped in some ridiculous color like orange or green or mirror finish.
I'm leaning towards matte finish over the stock Graphite Metallic to give it that stealthy look but I'm curious to hear suggestions as well.
Here's a pic of the car now (minus the front plate):

holy crap zilla! if the car were perfect under it then that would be really something! Bad news is when you'd get a dent what would you ever do to fix it? Good news though is door scrathches form others would be a thing of the past.
matte clear would be cool, hmmm or maybe a matte blue

I just read your post and I'll add some things to consider from my experience. I have used an invisible bra or wrap on an old car (one year old) and on a new one. When you say you will need to touch up some blemishes may I suggest that I was never happy with the results on the old one by comparsion to the new one that had never been driven. If I had to do the old one again, I would have a total repaint of the front before applyng the wrap. Also if you have ANY imperfections -- swirls, etc. make sure they are all removed because you do not get a second chance. On my friends Ferrari, they spent a day or two just making sure the paint was flawless prior to the wrap and that was a new car with 10 miles on it. Like I said there are no second chances unless you are going to have it redone.
I had the opportunity to see his new car totally wraped. It was a amazing process. It was superb but the comment on body damage is worth noting. It is not a total indestructable protective shield. If someone hits you with a bumper swipe you will be forced to repair and reshield or it will look weird.
After two years his Ferrari looks like new but then again he does not park it in parking lots and really does not drive it much. It is a garage queen.
Good luck with this. Please let us know how it turns out and how it is holding up after 6 or 9 months. That will be the real proof.

Please do let us know. I was thinking about having my front end painted over and was going to do the hood, front bumper, rocker panels and perhaps the mirrors. Right now safety is more important so I'm working on updating to rotors and pads and maybe, just maybe Koni's and Eibach's.
Post pictures of before and after.
