Angry Headlights

Ok yall, I need some help. I just bought a Alabaster White Crossfire Limited. When I bought it, it had 39,000 miles on it. The headlights were horrible!!! I used Meguirs Headlight Restoration System and it got most of the junk off, but there is scratches all over it! I have 10,000K in my Lo's and my Fog's, My 2011 Cadi CTS has projectors and It has a distinct cut off line that is very noticeable and my crossfire doesnt hardly have one at all. I was wondering how I could get all the scratches off my my headlight lens, Ive tried sanding it with 1000G and 2000G sandpaper, it still didnt work. I need help!!! Thanks yall.

Whoa.. that sounds terrible... are you sure that the bulbs are seated correctly? Even with scratches you should be getting the distinct lines...

You might try the product called "Crystal View"... I have used it with excellent result... You water sand w/ 1000 and 2000, and then use their solution as a filler for your scratches and swirls.... after it dries you apply a UV filler/protectant.... it did wonders on mine.

Gotcha, well if it does work then give Walmart.com: Crystal View Do-It-Yourself Headlight Restoration Kit: Automotive a try.... I will say that it takes only 20minutes, which is a nice plus.

Ok, I just fixed the projector cut off part. The bulb was not lined up very well. That problem is fixed, next just getting the scratches out. Then Sugar will look brand new!

Wetsand, then power polish with Porter Cable. I do it once a year, keeps them looking pretty clear.
