Default $5 Dollar Front Lip

Well dealing with fever and crap this weekend.. but did do a quick fit up of my 5 dollar investment. Probably will have to 3M tape some support around the V on the nose, might try a heat gun to form a slight v at the middle, but just wanted to get this up to show the fit.. And no screws. "Probably" will put fasteners inside the fender lip to secure. One additional note. These seem to come with and without an additonal flange on the top to secure on the Hondas lower grill opening. If you accept this mission.. get without top flange unless you just want to cut it off. These are normally 40 bucks on Ebay.. guess it was fate that day I searched and found it listed for 5 bucks in error.. and a special thanks to the vendor for honering the screw up!

I'm just glad opportunity fell in my lap on this one! Like most of you I wouldn't / couldn't buy one of everything to see what fits. At least now we know what will wrap around our front ends and fit at the fender wells. I have full confidence in fitting this up permanent, time frame will be the only question as there is still not much daylight when i get home from work, which just leaves weekends, which get filled from lack of daylight hours through the work week.. Vicious cycle!

Mrmiata, I like it! Is yours the same as the one Maxcichon indicated in his ebay link? Even at $40.00 it's a steal...

Yes sir it is the same vendor and exactly what I'm showing in my picture. When the 149 dollar cut to fit and sheetrock screw the sides showed up in a thread with "I created it" I went searching Ebay and found this listed at 5.19 shipped. It was an error in listing.. hit buy it now.. and the seller honered it without so much as a protest email! At 5 bucks I had nothing to loose in purchasing it and seeing if it would fit. I do like the 80 dollar models with the vents.. maybe later.. and since this model year Honda fits our noses.. I have very little doubt the vented ones would too. And mine was shipped in a large box..not folded up..heat to flatten or anything along those lines.

Gotta say this looks pretty darn good, and for an amazing price. I'd love to see some pix of it mounted, close up at the center of the bumper at back at the wheel openings too. I assume you're going to paint it Alabaster to match the rest of the car rather than leave it black, right?

I've got the Seat Cupra R front lip on my car (the one from the "little Phat lip" thread) and I love it - it sits low down on the bumper so I didn't need to paint it and it matches the black Mopar diffusers out back and the fact that I now have satin black wheels and changed all the exterior silver trim to satin black as well. Had that one not existed, I would have jumped all over this one and painted it to match the rest of the car. At $40 it's a steal - at $5 you'd have been a fool to pass it up. Looks really good so far, can't wait to see more.
