blinker light out but bulb ok
blinker light out but bulb ok
I have an 04 Alabaster and noticed that my blinker on the front passenger side stopped working! The 2 rear and front drivers side blinker are fine. The clicking the blinkers make is faster when i put the right one on and the rear right blinks faster than normal. I swapped out bulbs but still having the same problem!!! Can anyone help with what might be wrong or give me some ideas of what i should check? Thank you !!!
Re: blinker light out but bulb ok
That sounds like the common problem with the socket connection. Maybe someone can chime in how to repair it without replacing the complete unit.
What you describe is called hyperflashing. It lets you know that a bulb is out, or not connected.
There is a bunch of info when using the SEARCH function. Also try here

Re: blinker light out but bulb ok
It is the bulb socket: It is about $20 from the chrysler dealer. My dealer had them in stock, part number 1-05174703AA. You can also try slightly prying out the spring contacts on the side of the socket - GENTLY (they are fragile.) Good luck, TBW
