Default led lights behind the dash

My 2005 limited roadster has those ugly green led lights behind the dash, and i want to change them out for a red led where can i buy those?

I don't think it as easy as changing the bulbs. Do a search " changing color of dash lights" , pretty big job as I remember.

DTinker is correct. simply switching to red will give you a nasty purplish color because it is not the bulbs that give it the green color, the actual overlay has green integrated into the piece. Apparently to change the color, you need to remove the entire cluster, take it apart, remove the overlay, and very gently sand off the green coloring, then replace the bulbs.

There is a thread that details the entire process if you search for it. Should take a good tech a few hours...

oh well crap that doesn't sound to fun yeah im figuring out everything on the crossfire is a big pain to work on.

Thanks guys for the replies i look into it a bit more!

I took them out to the garage for installation one at a time when ready to install. Mine stuck really well and have not moved. When installing the LED strips, I was very careful not to touch the adhesive side of the strips and only peeled a little of the paper backing at a time.
