Lamp Failure Indicator
Anyone know why my lamp failure indicator light displays when all lights are working? I read the manual and it stated that if a failure happens the light will indicate as soon as the vehicles ignition is activated, but thats not the case. My light comes on when I turn on the headlights, any ideas
If it comes on when you turn the HEADLIGHTS on, you have a head light out.
If it comes on at the stop BEFORE that, see post 2.
The indicator does not come on with the ignition, only when the particular failed lamp is activated.
The manual (if is says what you say it does, and it probably does,) is wrong.

2 each license.. and front markers in the headlight housings.. me thinks manual is in error.. with no indication..
Pizza.. pop out a back up bulb and test that theory..

Jeez - don't you guys know yet that the roadster is EASIER than the coupe ?
All ya gotta do is cycle the top until it's up with the rear bow and tonneau raised, and you can reach right in and get to all the tail light bulbs .....
NO TOOLS REQUIRED

My indicator light has been on intermittently since new. It's always is the license plate light. All it takes is one slam of the hatch, and one of the festoon bulbs is moved enough to break contact. I used to disassemble it and pinch the contacts. But now I just tap on the offending lens and the connection is restored.
BAZINGA! Aside from tight spaces, this is the perfect way to the bulbs, did it yesterday
