converting hi-beams into low beams?
Wondering if there is anyone out there that has converted their hi-beams into low beams to be used as quad (4) headlights? I think it would look pretty decent at night having 4 HiD headlights on. Let me say that i literally never use my high beams before anyone jumps to conslusions. I have 2 crossfires so i dont mind playing with one. Just stick with my topic. Im thinking that i just cant splice into the low beam harness as it may cut the voltage in half. Im leaning towards possibly having to add a relay and branch off of there.
Before you start splicing / relaying, consider that the 2 are joined at the hip internally.
There is only one adjustment, if you adjust so that the hi beam is lower ( like the low beam ), then the low beams
will be pointing almost at the ground.

Very good point
Actually, if I'm not mistaken the high beams do have their own adjustment ****. I think it's hidden and can be adjusted with a flathead screw driver. I forgot who said they found it on the back of the headlight unit, but yeah. Just a thought.
I can assure you there is only one up-down adjustment for both lights.
The flat head screwdriver looking things are capped factory adjustments for left/right, and yes there is one for each light.
