I added a 5 watt ceramic resistor to the passenger side backup light, and I am still getting a glow. just to confirm, I attach the two wires to the two black wires coming from the socket, right? The brown is the ground?

I have now changed all my lights to LEDs. I have no issues with my reverse lights glowing. One thing I've noticed (other than the light out error) is that my turn signals are flashing 2-3 times as fast as normal. Any ideas?

You'll need splice in resistors, or inline resistor modules with sockets to get rid of the hyperflash.

I'm reading mixed info. Do these LEDs still throw the 'lamp out warning' light?

Thank you for this!

I'm very happy with superbrightled's service and products.

Does anyone know where I can find a blue LED trunk light and possibly glove compartment light? I was only able to find other color interior lights for the dome lights.

I have not taken apart the LEDs for the switches themselves, so that one I cannot help you with.

Hello,

would changing the flasher controller for one that works with LEDs do the same as putting a resistor into the circuits?

Thanks,

Dylan

We have a digital controller type flasher.. I looked into things when I noticed a resistor soldered into a Miata's controller was doable.. ours is buried and would have to be mapped out.

I see. Obviously the simple method of using a plug in style flash relay module was not used.

Thanks for the info.

Dylan

I know this is an older post, but I am looking for the license plate LEDs. The eBay link no longer works from the first post. Anyone have a new source for these?
