Final thoughts on these eBay Diffusers?
Final thoughts on these eBay Diffusers?
I know some time ago there was an issue with quality and fitment of some copy aftermarket diffusers for the rear.
Currently the following auction has sold 42 sets of these. Anyone have experience with these?

Thanks, James

I cannot see why someone could not make four correctly shaped blocks and screw them to the existing panel.
I think that is a lot of money for a bit of plastic.
Way back someone made some from wood I think. I bet you would not be able to tell the difference unless you got real close.

180 - I agree - that's a lot of money for some plastic molding. Seems like a retired hobbyist with some resin and fiberglass experience could make a mold and whip these out on an as ordered basis. Maybe I'm over-simplifying the job, but then I'm not a resin and fiberglass specialist.

James,
The Ebay listing is our listing as well. While we did originally make these out of fiberglass, we decided it would be best to switch over to ABS plastic. They are slightly textured now to hide any markings that might occur from road debris being kicked up. This was done after more than a few customers said that the fiberglass version showed the hits more than they liked. These can still be painted have no fitment issues. If it will set your mind at ease we would have no issue sending a set out to you for you to test fit as a courtesy for a forum member. If you like the fit and finish, we'll consider it a sale and give you 25% off. If not you can send them back and no harm no foul. Please send us a message and let us know if that is something you'd like to pursue.
Please keep in mind guys, the price will eventually drop on these, we are still covering the cost of making the new ABS molds. Once that is absorbed the price will drop down a bit more. It will happen, just please continue to be patient. As for STRANDD, you can send us over a message if the time arises that you ever want to purchase anything and we'll get you a discount as well for the name drop.
