Hi everyone - having problems with my interior lights and couldnt locate a similar thread. Map and trunk lights work but there's no on/off when opening the door. I can turn the lights on and off from the console above the windscreen. The door 'pins' seems to push in and out OK but lights wont come on when any doors are opened. Does any one have a fix?

There is a slider switch as well as the ON/OFF push button switch, it determines if the door switches work or not work. It is beside the push button switch.

 

Yes, thanks. That works fine but still has no effect on the lights coming on when the door is open

 

There is a trim piece on the doors that contacts the switch, some people had cars where this had been removed for some reason and the light stayed on all the time, l have not heard of the opposite.
Check out the slider switch.
