Question Those w/ aftermarket bulbs, question?

I know I can get a plug and play HID kit for $300.00, but how about a quality bulb that looks good, i.e. silver star or PIAA. I DO NOT want a ricey blue bulb, but don't a blue bulb that actually turns bright white, so I need your honest opinions on what you have, like did you do one at a time and then turn on your lights to notice the difference against a wall or garage door. Thanks in advance!

Thumbs up Re: Those w/ aftermarket bulbs, question?

Silver Star...High, Low and Fogs and LED's for the sentry lights. They are a perfect match. Also LED's for all side marker lights, I am in the process of trying to find LED'S for the rear lights also.

Question Re: Those w/ aftermarket bulbs, question?

How much whiter are the Silverstars compared to what came in the car? Speaking of what came in the car, what are they? I did this trick with my silverstars in the my beater car, check this out. Take the 9005 bulbs and cut out the little tap inside and install them in the low beam socket and BAM, you get another 9w of power. Its too bad the Crossfire doesn't have the 9006 lows and 9005 highs or I'd be doing this to my Crossfire. I just wanted to know how much whiter they really are compared to stock. Thanks!
