or better yet
post some prices for the kleeman low boost kit and high boost kit. as well as some detailed pictures of the kits components for inspection (trying to get kleeman to give that kind of info is like pulling pyramids out of... well you know).
Ok, I've listed prices and power figures for the three Kleemann stages offered for the 320 motor. As for pictures what would you like to see?
Kleemann Low Boost Kompressor
75 hp over stock
75 lb/ft over stock
$6,500 usd.
Stage 1
Kleemann High Boost Kompressor
330 hp @ 5,800 rpm
325 lb/ft from 2,000 rpm
$9,500.00 usd.
Stage 2
Kleemann High Boost Kompressor, ECU
350 hp @ 5,800 rpm
345 lb/ft from 2,000 rpm
$10,500.00 usd.
Stage 3
Kleemann High Boost Kompressor, ECU, Camshafts
367 hp @ 5,800 rpm
355 lb/ft from 2,000 rpm
$14,100.00 usd.
None of these prices include installation, and all are listed in US dollars.
Hopefully this gives everybody an idea of what's out there for the crossfire. If anyone has any questions please feel free to e-mail or call oakridgeauto@bellnet.ca or (905)338-3131.
Thank you,

Thanks for the rundown on Kleemann. Out of curiosity how do they deal with remapping the ECU? Have they remapped a Crossfire ECU on the dyno or is there a supplementary ECU fitted? Or, as I suspect is the case, are they reflashing the Crossfire ECU with maps developed for the SLK320? I don't have and issue either way, the only reason I ask is that we have been unable to run the Crossfire on a rolling road dyno due to TC/ESP issues and you might know how they did it. Obviously if they did it on an SLK they could have invoked the dyno mode that those cars have. I suppose they could have pulled the engine and run it up on an engine dyno too. Also it would be interesting to know what facilities they used to remap the stock ECU, if that is indeed what they did.

thank you for the kleeman list, i hope a moderator will sticky this in the engine mod section for future use !
i would like to see the low boost kit components, their fuel system design, the auxiliary injector mentioned ... overall kinda like most turbo/supercharger kit manufacturers do, they provide a picture of all the components of their kit on their site so people really know what they are dishing the money out for ... at this point we really have no clue of what comes in the kit, the quality of the supercharger we are getting, or what other components come with the kit ... i trust their design i just wouldn't pay for something i have never seen with my very own eyes, its unamerican. :-) show us the goods. :-P
but yah, thank you again for the clear cut list...
one more question, does the kit have to be installed by the dealer or can it be user installed ? i am not a big fan of letting shops work on my car. hell i've only had a shop do work for me once and that was a warranty recall service they refused to let me handle...

Hi,
I'm more than happy to provide this information to anyone who is interested. Now to answer some of the questions asked,
The ECU upgrade has been tested on the SLK320. The Crossfire and SLK both use the exact same ECU therefore it's a direct crossover. How we handle ECU upgrades is we remove the ECU and ship to back to Kleemann USA (Fedex + a lot of insurance) they reflash the ECU at their facilities and return it to us within a week. Usually we do the supercharger install while the ECU is being reflashed.
I will be including as many pictures as I can to try and show you exactly the components you were asking about. As for the installation question, supercharger installation must be done at an authorized Kleemann dealer. This is because if the customer installs these products it will void the Kleemann warranty. Personally if I was dishing out the $14,100.00 for the stage 3 kit I would want some warranty. The Kleemann warranty is 12 months or 100,000 km.
If you have any questions please feel free to contact me or post them here and I'll do my best to answer.

Hopefully these pictures help clarify what's included in the kit. Pictures of the camshafts and other components are posted on: http://www.Kleemannusa.com
I don't have any more pictures right now, but the next SLK supercharger installation I do, I'll take more pictures for everyone.
Thank you,
-Mike
thank you for taking the time to post the pictures. it is of great help, at least now we know it comes with larger sized primary injectors what it looks like.
