It seems like a lot of people on here are interested in this performance meter so I thought I would copy my post on another site for everyone here.

GTECH PRO RR

I ordered mine new for $250, according to owners and reviews it is VERY accurate. Mine will arrive tomorrow. I will revise this review with gtech dyno graphs and dynojet dyno graphs to compare the accuracy and with track time slips compared to gtech "time slips" taken on the same run.
The Gtech Pro RR has some AMAZING features! For now this will serve as a feature review of the unit.
First off, the software:
P.A.S.S.
PASS allows you to analyze your runs in even more depth than possible on the Gtech, due to the increased processing power and screen resolution of a PC. (PASS analyzes the data from the Gtech, i.e. it does not have access to any more information than the Gtech, just more processing resources.)
With PASS 2.0, you can analyze, compare and share dragstrip runs and track sessions from road racing and autocross sessions.

What is the latest version of PASS?

What is the latest version of PASS?
- The latest version of PASS is v2.0. This version works with all versions of the Competition and RR models.
- When you run PASS, there is a "Help" pulldown menu. If you select "About", a splash screen will appear and the PASS version is shown in the lower left corner.
- Gtech Pro Competition units shipped with PASS v1.1.1.
- Gtech Pro RR units shipped with PASS v2.0.
- Gtech Pro SS units cannot upload data and do not ship with any version of PASS.
- If you have a Gtech Pro Competition:
- The newest version of PASS v2.0. PASS v2.0 will work with any version of firmware on the Gtech Pro Competition. We strongly recommend that all Gtech Pro Competition owners download, install and use PASS v2.0.
- If you have upgraded your Gtech Pro Competition to the RR/4.0 firmware, you must use version 2.0 of PASS to analyze your runs.
- If your Competition has firmware version 3.0 or earlier, you can use PASS v1.1.1, but you will be missing out on the latest features and enhancements in the latest Gtech firmware (version RR/4.0) and the latest version of PASS, v2.0.
- If you have a Gtech Pro RR:
- Your product was shipped with PASS version 2.0, and that is the version you should use with the RR.
- If you have a Gtech Pro SS:
- The Gtech Pro SS cannot upload runs to a PC, so you cannot use PASS with your product.

Yes I have had it at the track several times and it is accurate. I have not had time to fool with the dyno features though, there are like 6 cops for every person where I live so they are up your @ss everywhere you go and I haven't found anywhere to test it without getting pulled over.
Here is a test run I made on my old car:
dynoc.jpg
and the fact on a "real dyno" I ran a 285.8whp/255wtq the gtech is right on. It is about 8% off and the weight is about 8% too heavy so if you subtract that it would have been amazingly close.
Typically the drag mode will show 5mph faster than your actual trap speed in a 1/4 mile so if you subtract that out you should be right on.
