Snow? Well, at least it is cool to me :)
Here is a pretty useless thread, but I will post it anyway.
It is actually snowing here in Brenham, TX. Fairly uncommon, and I am sure only cool because we rarely get it, and don't have to put up with piles of it. But it finally feels like winter around here, all-be-it it won't actually stick to anything since it was almost 80 degrees yesterday.
Still novel to someone who was born, raised, and rarely left South/Central Texas.
See what a few hours of snow can do for a Texan? Now if it would only stick...

Yeh, that's part of the front that moved through here yesterday. We got sleet between 7-8pm. Some got snow. I'm glad it comes and goes fast. Back in the 60's and 70's here this weekend.

I like my snow like Quagmire likes his women.
My son moved to Austin from NE Ohio a little over 2 yrs ago, he said that it was snowing about 11:30pm Tuesday night and everyone in Bennigan's took off out the door to see it and were taking pictures with thier cell phones. Funny, the things one takes for granted snow can be pretty but it gets to be old sometimes
Talked to my parents who are in Houston. They said that right as the snow stopped there was nearly 3inches. It has however melted mostly.
Well, here in Birminhgam, Alabama they are calling for a dusting of snow in the next 48 hours, and we will also have a winter weather advisory in effect tonight.
Oh, for anyone having problems getting traction in the snow while driving the Crossfire, there is a simple fix for that; put two 50 pound bags of sand in the trunk, positioned right over the rear wheels, it'll add a total of 100 pounds of downforce.
Also to be safe when driving in this type of weather, I keep my wing deployed until I get to where I'm going, I only retract it when I get to where it is I'm going.

The grass and cars were coated, but the concrete was still too hot from the 80 degrees that it was less than 24 hours earlier.
yeah I flew through this winter land garbage this week. My all time favorite was last night in ATL. the first airplane came in with water in the airspeed indicator so that was a no go. The second airplane had no APU ( auxiliary power unit...it controls the air conditioning and starting the airplane) one thrust reverser was defferred...hey who really needs to slow down. and the APR (automatic power reserve....this automatically bumps the power up if an engine smokes out) was broken. I only flew one leg last night and I was 2.5hrs late on a 35 minute flight and it's been raining for two days in ATL so there are lots of people camping out at the airport.
Then we were late this morning because we need an external air source to start the engines since the APU is on vacation and we couldn't get the engines started because some boy geius wonder ramper left a kink in the hose and the starter was not getting any air pressure. It only took us 30 minutes to figure out what special ed ramper did...haha I LOVE MY JOB and SNOW but not too keen on when those two decide to play together.
