Well, I got off the speeding ticket
I was able to work it out with the prosecutor in Ohio for the ticket I got on the way back home from Carlisle.
I had to pay the ticket, but they reduced it to a parking violation. Won't go on my record....

Yes, I'm well aware I am very fortunate.
I called their prosecutor and told her It was too far for me to go back and fight in court. I asked for a form of supervision, and pay the fine. She told me they didn't have such a program, but that if I had a good driving record in my state she would either drop the charge or negotiate it down. I send her my record which BTW is clean in Illinois. She changed it to a parking ticket.
