What I liked was them saying the police were investigating what role speed played, if any, in the accident. I'm thinking it's pretty obvious speed played a significant role, without any investigation needed.

Kind of reminds me of a story I read in a Mississippi paper some years ago, which included the line "The cause of death is unknown, but police are investigating two mysterious bullet wounds in his head."

 

That was a police cruiser dashcam. I like the way this guy "cooly" avoided rear-ending the LEO.

Years ago, I had a neighbor that did something like that in his new vette. He crossed over the center median and ran into an on coming car. He wasn't so lucky to survive. Alcohol was involved.

 

I can hear him now, as he was about to blow the officer off the road...those famous two words....." "..........and the officer's response was....." "...........exactly the same....lol
