Amazing video of the power and destruction the tsunami caused.

Agreeded, the destruction and loss is incredable.

Very sad. Hopefully the world will quickly come to their aide.

My favorite quote:

"Anyone who says this is GOD's work...has a MENTAL ILLNESS. Stop PRAYING and HELP people...clothes and food---that is what these people NEED. Not some mumbling to an invisible person."

First, it's not God's work.

Second, this quote is right. I mean, sure, we SHOULD be praying for them. But there comes a time when you get up from your prayer and "put action to your words".

I was just telling my boss today that I WISH I had time off, a lot of it, coming. I'd be willing to go and serve for, like 3 weeks.

I really would. I wish I could go.

I am also frustrated that the obsession on the nuke plants has diverted attention (and perhaps resources and aid) away from the human suffering.
In the long term, the nuke plants are a minor story - while the tsunami and earthquake have taken THOUSANDS OF LIVES.

I'm with you Mark.

And TomStratSRT, If you don't believe, we ask two things, don't pray and don't scold those who do.

Those who pray glady respect the rights of those of you who don't. With all due respect; shut up and let us pray.
