I don't know if I am allowed to discuss this...
Can't beat the iPhone 3GS with iOS 5 - it's just so compatible with the Crossfire Stereo.
Hands free calling, voice dialing, tons of music playback, keeps the phone charged up and much more....
Cant wait to go Quadrasonic....
or upgrade to the iPhone 5 with 4G....

The list is different for everyone and it goes on forever but you get the point.
In short, the iPhone gives me easy access to high quality apps that make my life easier and more fun. And the iOS is a seamless experience across all Apple devices, easy, smooth, reliable, and very intuitive. I haven't found that with Android and certainly not with Windows mobile which has been a disaster to date.
For me it's about the Device + OS + Content Delivery Platform + Apps Library. Apple is the only one to absolutely nail all four things I care about. Android is doing OK in second place. Windows is not even in the game as far as I'm concerned.
And now with iCloud, Apple has added a 5th category of competition, cloud storage/sharing/access that the others have yet to address. I won't be giving up my iPhone any time soon. Certainly not for a lonely glitchy Windows mobile universe. I like living in a walled garden where everything just works.

Anyone that has experience with both let me know what you think.

Well, if it wasn't for work, I probably wouldn't have a smart phone. I do have a Blackberry with a REAL keyboard (just cannot stand the touch screen keyboards). It works great for emails and texts, but does have its limitations. However, I recently purchased a Asus Android Tablet (I know it is not a phone), but I was impressed with the ease of use of the Android OS (3.2). As for apple stuff, I haven't been an apple fan in the 30 years that I have been playing with computers. My son has some kind of itouch device and I have played with an ipad (still have the heeby-jeebies from touching it). I guess I'm not impressed with anything that has ios or whatever your call it or macs. Since my IT department won't approve Androids, we only have a choice between Blackberry and iphones. I'm due for a new phone soon, so I guess I'll be stuck with the Blackberry.

Here is what former iphone users have to say"
Iphone beats Windows Mango phone in one aspect! - YouTube
Windows 7.5 and IOS5 are very similar in many ways. the biggest dfference between the two phones is the iphone is an app driven phone while the new Windows phone is more operating system driven. All the apps you would ever like are on the Window phone as well as the Android.
In the Windows phone apps are integrated into hubs and displayed by live tiles. You can also slide the tiles out of the way and there are all your apps. I have all my contacts, linked in, facebook and twitter in one place while on the iphone you have to go into each account separately. I also have real voice navigation free and is part of the operating system. The windows phone 7.5 is very new and worth looking into. the best way to decrive my experience was that the day I got my windows phone I was overwhelmed because I was used to my iphone. It was kink of like you know how to drive a Crossfire and someone throws you the keys to a Ferrari and you can't find the shifter.
As far as cloud computing goes, Windows calls it the sky drive and has all the same funtionality. The windows phone can do anything a iphone can do but you don't have to always be going in and out of apps to do what you want to do.
