Not sure if this crosses the line of rules in this place.... But for the longest time I wanted an iPhone. I went with a droid evo and absolutely love it because I didn't want AT&T or verzon. Now sprint is getting the iPhone. Suddenly I don't want the iPhone any longer. The droid has everything the iPhone has and more... Plus it is not locked down like the iPhone.

Anyone that has experience with both let me know what you think.

Shampoo is better...... I go on first and clean the hair.
No, Conditioner is better..... I leave the hair silky and smooth.

My wife and I were eligible for an upgrade. Right now the iPhone 3GS is free with AT&T, the iPhone 4 is $99. I went to the store and tried the android phones, the RIM phones and the iPhone. The iPhone was the most intuitive to use, and the touch screen was the best. I bought the iPhones. The thing that I noticed was that you DON'T need to hook up your iPhone to a computer and have an iTunes account. You can get all the free APS you want on your phone - you don't have to lock it to a computer. You have to use the iPhone APS store, but you do it all on your iPhone. I think alot of people are under the impression that you need an iTunes account with your credit card - this is not true, if you are going to just download free aps. If you do want to BUY an app, then you do need a credit card. Take a look at the iPhone again, and do what I did - go to a store and actually try to access a website on all the types of smartphones - use the keyboards and see which one works the best - try the Crossfireforum.org website. See how many times you have to punch in the letters to actually get it right - I think you'll see the iPhone is the best.

Thanks for the response. I already have an iPad. I also use iTunes and have an iPod that I use in the car everyday. I am also due fir an upgrade for me and my wife. She has a normal phone and I pay for a data plan on her that she never uses. She has an iPad so I figured I would upgrade her to an iPhone. The question is do I want to leave my droid. Thanks for the advice. This is a decision I will have to make.

The new iPhone 4s is absolutely amazing. Go into a store and use Siri, you'll immediately turn to the associate and buy one. Another thing to look at is the camera because it takes amazing pictures. If you already have the iPad what are you waiting on?

I have had an iPhone 3Gs since the came out and my wife and son have IPhone 4's. My iPhone died and after looking at the droid which seemed like a clunky iPhone, I went with an HTC Surround with the Bose speakers and kick stand running Windows 7.5 Mango. My wife was blown away at how it worked and dumped her iPhone and now she has the HTC HD7s. In the near future windows 8 will come out for tablets, desktops and laptops. If you haven't seen Windows 8 you need to see it. Soon Windows will be running the same system across all platforms. The windows phone comes with Windows Office which is great for buniness and also come with Zune, and XBox. You also get automatic wireless sync, free voice navigation and incredible voice texting that allows you to text while you are driving just by listening and talking. you never have to touch the phone. The Windows phone is amazing how it integrates all your social media and contacts. You guys should go onlone to youtube and watch some of the demo's of 7.5 (Mango). These phones have been constently suprising us with capabilities.

I'm using the Droid Incredible 2 and it does more than I have time to allow. I get Netflix, Facebook, Gmail, YouTube, and this forum on it... PLUS all the other useful apps. I never drank the iKool-Aid

Then again, I had a Motorola Razor for seven years and never missed a single text, call, meeting, ball game, outing, lunch date, date night, or hookup.

The phone is only as smart as its user.

I guess that's why I miss these phones so much.

Is this where crank calls started?

Make a poll next time. I root for iPhone 4, 4s, or iPhone 5 next year.

I actually remember those old car phones...my boss had one... I love my Iphone, my son just left Droid for a new 4s... It's easy to use, and with the new software upgrade, you don't need to be connected to a computer any longer. Each to their own... so, yes, you are allowed to Discuss Things... I wouldn't call politics a "thing"...it's more of riot on here... now, back to cars...there is an Iphone forum if you have questions, I was just over there the other evening...

The first ten years in this business, I spent about 10% of my time working on those old phones, and the "Pulsar" line that replaced them... best part of that was working on the base stations at the tower sites. Those old bases were fun to work on, and failed often at odd hours - the overtime pay was quite worth it.

The first mobile phone I ever saw had a handle and was about the size of a lunch box and had and was powered by a small car battery or motorcycle battery. You guys should really take a look at the new Windows 7.5 Mango update. We loved out our iphones but this new Windows phone blows it away.

20 years ago we had Steve Jobs, Bob Hope and Johnny Cash.

Now we have no jobs, no hope and no cash.
