Mobil 1's on sale at O'Reilly's
Re: Mobil 1's on sale at O'Reilly's
Is there something I am missing? Mine doesn't show wrenches/miles/neg numbers/anything but the odom and miles driven between tankfulls...
I am guessing here, but does one prompt for the other stuff by a combination of presses/dances with the IP?

Okay watch it when you first start the car.. and yes if you press twice quickly it brings up the display.
Re: Mobil 1's on sale at O'Reilly's
Oh yes, how many times have we suggested we check the owners manual? I cannot tell you how many time I have referenced this rather informative document in my replies, or seen the references to opening this precious document, I truly must indulge myself of further reading if I am to near fully understand the complexities of this complex marvel of the mechanical world. I should have known this, but as I am so quick with the reply (although not as quick with my 'hunt-n-peck' typing style or proof-reading, which takes so much time that it results in a near-total loss of continual thought processes), that I failed to pull out my (careful everyone) my backup owners manual that I cannot find at the moment due to the current affliction of spousal reorganization (I swear this is in the current DSM IV) syndrome
Yeah, I get cornfumed all the time! When I find it, I'll check out the FSS pullup in the manual... Sorry I got the impression it just sits there in the display. I guess I keep looking for those glitches that PaPa warned me about. He said (a long time ago) 'If it aint broke, don't fix it'... I see a lot of those assertions posted a lot in our forum. It usually presents as a 'how can I spend a huge amount of $ on something I shouldn't worry about but want to belong' presentation. Really should not drink before reading /posting... It usually gets a laugh, or gets me in the doghouse!
Thanks MrM, someone has to keep my on my toes!

Resistance is futile! I'll tell you a little known fact, I keep records of everything I do to my vehicles... Gas, oil, parts, I even have records of my previous vehicles I sold/traded in that the other party was not interested in beyond the dribble they spewed in making the sale. I figured if the next owner wanted the records, they would find me (none have yet in all my years of keeping them).
