Default Interesting find

I just did a quick google search to find a local shop to tint my windows. One of the businesses that came up on the search had it's own web page, so I clicked on it.

Below is an image of their webpage.

you think they actually tint the Crossfire? or is it like that head unit on Amazon that has a Crossfire in the picture but doesn't actually fit our cars?

I called to schedule the install and the owner complemented me when I told him I had a Crossfire. I just thought it was odd that out of all the cars he could have put on his home page, he chose to place the Crossfire at the top. I suspect the website is a decade old, and he just hasn't got around to updating it.

Ask him for a reach-around on the price since he's using our car to land business

How dark are you going?

When I had my tint done, they had to take old tint off and then replace it with new, cost me right around $150 USD.

I had the windows tinted today at Accu-tint, which is the shop I mentioned at the start of this thread. I decided not to go with the expensive ceramic film, but I did end up spending a little extra money for a premium tint that blocks out a lot more heat than the cheaper one they offer. I had them do 30% on the sides and 20% on the hatch.

I drive like a maniac at times, so I didn't want to give the cops another reason to pull me over.

YEP!! As much as I would like to have my windows tinted, it will keep all the ladies from seeing "whose driving that beautiful car?"

Exactly why I did not do mine, especially since my whole car is 17% metallic film. Recently I was in a friend's car and he had them do a 50% on the windshield that is generally used for residential glass and it looks awesome. You can not tell when you look at the windshield, but it makes the rest of the tint a little darker and is fantastic for bright headlights at night.

If I do mine sometime soon I will post some pictures.

That is illegal in most states, including Indiana.
Here's the Indiana statute :
Non-reflective tint is allowed along the top of the windshield above the manufacturer's AS-1 line.
( now as to what the AS-1 line is, I have no clue )

In my younger days, I worked at a tint shop and am very well informed on the local and state statutes, but that is the best part about 50% is that you literally can not tell it is there, and cops around here are worried about more than your window tint. I have had technically illegally tint for the last 15 years and 9 vehicles I have owned. I have been pulled over multiple times and been given several tickets, not a single cop ever said anything about my tint...
