Fire season comes roaring back to Colorado
We haven't had much rain here the past few weeks. Temperatures have been in the 90s and 100s with very low humidity (5% or so) and 20+ MPH winds. An area about 35 miles south of me is burning pretty badly. There are two other fires in the Pikes Peak area as well. One is near the Royal Gorge (near Caņon City) area and I have heard reports that the Royal Gorge bridge is dangerously close to burning as well. There is another in Rocky Mountain National Park. Send rain our way please!
