It is the only news on the news even here in Chicago.
It was said that this even took out the Hospital
They are asking that all the choppers covering this news leave the area so that it will be quiet so the people on the ground can here others who may be trapped screaming and calling out for help.
My prayers to all who have been impacted by this tragic and devastating tornado.
There is no doubt there is loss of life with this one

We are hearing some very sad stories about students in one of the schools.

Possibly 24 kids lost to the storm.

This tragedy will touch so many. Thoughts and prayers for you guys.

That school is almost flat now... firemen pouring over the wreckage... looking for little kids.

This will not end well. That school is gone.

M.E. has confirmed 37 fatalities so far. Still 31 kids missing at the school.

I guess that's the other school that got hit? Channel six here reported 24 then retracted as not official statement..

Unhappy Re: Spring Storms - Massive destruction by a Tornado near Oklahoma city

Continuing to pray for you folks in the OKC area. I have family and friends all over that area. Have not heard from them yet. Poor Moore, it always gets hit.. Hopefully this surge will be over for the day; and be more calm tomorrow. As a TULSA Police Chaplain, I was involved in recovery efforts/ family notifications in the bombing event and two major tornadoes. Never a good day when they end like that. Keep your eyes on the skies; and an exit plan guys.

Yea, but they are not saying WHO died. From what I see on TV, I am very concerned about that school - the building is nearly flat. I'm afraid most of the dead were in that school.

I never connected your past with the bombing...

I'm surprised YOU didn't need counseling after that.

My prayers go out to those in the path of the storms. My late Great Uncle was a Professor at O.S.U. in Stillwater and saw many tornadoes. They had a room built in the center of their house were they would all go when the sirens sounded.
Please be safe and take care.
